Throwback Thursday | Eminem - I just don't give a F***

Since Recovery dropped this week i figured i'd post this classic Eminem. This is the track that actually caught my attention back in '97/'98 when i first heard it on UndergroundHipHop.com before him being signed to Aftermath. Eminem is still in my Top five, dead or alive!

NC Reppin' | Throwback Thursday | Yaggfu Front - Looking for a Contract

"North Carolina (peace to Virginia) based group, consisting of members Spin 4th, D'Ranged & Damage and Jingle Bel. Like most Hip-Hop acts of the time such as Common, Ill Biskits, The Roots, Digable Planets, Mad Skillz and countless others, they moved to New York to pursue a career in the Hip-Hop game. After releasing a a few singles, including the Diamond D featured "Slappin' Suckas Silly Remix" and a successful album (selling over 200,000 copies according to Soundscan), they bowed out of the game. Along with many other rappers who signed to major labels at the time, they parted company with their record label (Mercury Records). In 2002, around the time members of the group were working with the DemiGodz, they released "The Secret Tapes" a compilation of material recorded during their most successful stint in the game, 1992 to 1996." - via Discogs

NC Reppin' | Throwback Thursday| J. Cole - Losing my Balance (Live)

It was right about this time last year, when i first caught a glimpse of J. Cole for the first time, and it was this same video and song which was posted up on PremiumPlus that caught my attention. Its crazy looking back at this video, and now seeing the success he's having at this moment, who would have thought this Fayetteville kid from North Carolina would ever take this far. Definitely a Star is being born before our eyes, its a Cole World!
